AVISynth Error

Post by RS1183 » Wed Oct 05, 2005 4:22 am

AVISynth Open Error
LoadPlugin: "C:\Program Files\AVISynth\Plugins\MPEG2Dec3.dll is not an avisynth plugin.
(C:\Documents and Settings\Owners\Desktops\AMV Stuff\Demos.avs, Line1

Anyone know what this means and how to resolve it?

I got something like this. Make sure you've downloaded AVISynth 2.5.

Your filepath doesn't look like you have. Download the 2.5 version (It's a bit lower on the download page, which is strange), install it, move your plugins, and fix your filepath in your scripts.

What I find helpful for making sure I have perfect filepaths is this:
Open your plugins folder. Create a shortcut of your desired plugin. Right click the shortcut and go to Properties. Copy the target URL. Paste into your script. Ta-dah! Works like a dream.

Hope that helps you!

AVISynth 2.5 should auto-load all plugins in the main plugins directory, so if you put the plugins there, you don't have to use LoadPlugin() to be able to use them.
