Adding Subtitles
Does anyone know of a good program that can add subtitles to MPEG's or at least a WMV?

I prefer using Sub Station Alpha along with VirtualDub. You can find a decent guide here - http://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/170420.php.

Lyrics/translations if one uses a song that has non-english lyrics. Or maybe even go so far that he/she'll want to make a karaoke one like is seen with fansubs nowadays.darthgamer wrote:Why would you want to add subs anyways?
Or if the AMV is so story-based that it requires new lines to bring up the story.

You can use WMM2.

The first link I found at the second link. The first link has some XML code that you can add to WMM2 to better customize whatever titles, subtitles, and credits you want. One set of XML code is supposed to able put subs more towards the bottom of the screen as opposed the where WMM2 normally puts them. Hope this helps.
