Windows Movie maker 5.1 is pretty good for a free product and you can mute the clips as you sync them into your AMV.

Apparently, somewhere in the About... screen or some similar, the program's version number is listed as 5.1.

Never mind the fact that it's really called Windows Movie Maker 2.1.

You have to love Microsoft. Just ignore the first version number, the correct one is the one at the end of all that mumbo-jumbo. Version 2.1.4026.0 is the real number.

5.1 refers to version of windows you have (windows xp).
