I'm just gonna be lazy here. What video editing programs can open .Vob files. Showbiz is all I have ever used.... but to be quite honest it can be a pain... overall im just curious as to which programs support .Vob files.. thanks in advance

Directly, very little does. If you're willing to do a little bit of work, well...

Both Vegas (the expensive one) and Vegas Movie Studio (the cheaper one) will open VOB files. But the results will vary with the source material; i.e. sometimes it's a mess. And it's not stable enough for editing complete projects although I have grabbed clips from them.

VirtualDubMod also opens VOB files directly. Used it for my last project just to get some clips and didn't have any problems with it.

I know Magix Movie Edit Pro 10 can import and edit VOB files directly, but if you need accuracy, I'd recommend against it and suggest frameserving with AVI wrappers.

To open VOB file? Hmm...
CyberLink PowerDVD 5?
Easy as since it changes the vob file icon to the powerDVD one.
Double click and enjoy.
