ripping issues

i've searched and cant find info on this topic (to my knowlege)... too much technical jargon, and you lose me completely... this is what's happening:
1) i'm ripping mah w/ dvddecrypter to make vob files
2) using autogk to make avi files

here's the problem... i'm not getting all of the footage. i did every file this way and still don't have the first few episodes =( i have no clue what i'm doing wrong. any help and advice would be so greatly appriciated!! thank you for even reading my post! ^_^

nevermind... (see how techliterate i am? i cant even edit my post) i found out what happened when i tried to organize the files... it started on episode 4 and when it got to the end of the disk it added ep 1,2, and 3... i feel like an idiot
