Download extender

im a newb here so idk if this has been brought up but i was wondering if anyone knew of a program to extend the limit of time windows XP has with files it downloads before it closes them saying that the download overshot the limit of time before closing i think its like a 20 minute time limit or if anyone knew a spot on windows to alter that to extend it to unlimited or higher time value?

??? never heard of that ??? is it the OS doing it or the browser.
i would suggest you use a download manager. I'm partial to getright and free download manager but theres also flashget.

mmm yeah its the OS doing it im sure but question is what can i use instead of what it has automaticly for downloading music videso because sometimes ill download a buncha and if it goes over a time limit it just stops and id have to restart also another way that affects something is when i try download the full animix project i cant download it couse it takes to long
