need help with avisynth post processing

i edit my videos in windows movie maker 2 and export an avs file but can't load it into virtualdub to clean up the footage. i keep getting a "no fourcc decompressor" message if anyone could help, i'd appreciate it. also need info on resizing video for myspace and amv

What do you mean? You export a .WMV file and try to load it into VDub with an .AVS script? Then post your code.

You've probably got the wrong script... or don't have the right codec... or both...

You can do all your resizing (and since your working with WMM, your cropping) with Vdub. Once you get your video loaded into it, that is...

I'm sure you mean you'd exported an AVI from WMM. This is compressed in DV-Codec, which is usually built in in editing programs. Since VDub relies on installed codecs only, you need to install a DV codec. Google for the Panasonic DV Codec.
