get a mac and final cut pro is money isnt an issue.. or if you want something on the PC check out the guides and the software reviews.. i think most people use premiere and or after effects, but vegas, avid, magix, and ulead media studio are becomming more and more popular.. there really is no best software, its all on your preference..

If money does not matter, I would also suggest getting a Mac, with an Avid system. The stuff that movie companies use to edit cinemas for theatres.

I think the low end models go for $50,000.

why? i think it's better spending your money on a higher end PC system with a lot of disk space and use premiere or vegas then waste your money on a mac that they'll probaby never get any good support for amv editing. If you are editing amvs, it's easier to use a PC. If you are editing movies you've filmed yourself, go for the mac.

Correct. I have a high end mac and Final Cut studio .... it is far tougher to make AMVs (at the start) do to the lack of preprocessing support (i.e. no avi synth programs) and guides. I had to learn the whole process as I went ....

But now I can make AMVs and movies ..... lmao

Heaven help us....

Panty Raid - the full-length (oh, the pun) feature film.

Back OT....

And I agree with Pwolf - if you want support from the people around this joint, PC and Premiere/Vegas is the way to go. Both companies offer free trials of the editors, so you can see which one is more comfy for you.
