Need a free ripping program...

This is my first post on this forum, and I just have a simple request.

Can anyone link me to a good and free ripping DVD ripping program?

I went to the FAQ about making amvs from dvds, but I can't find the program he reccomended using. And the website I would find it from, dvddecrypter.com, no longer exists.

There is a new program by the same company called imgburn, but I couldn't get it to rip, all it was set to do was burn dvds from video files already on the harddrive. Nothing more.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

i personally have the dvd decrypter program.
i would still highly recommend using it as the guides follow it.

I have yet to find or hear of a subsitute program that works just as well or better than dvddecrypter. (anyone know of one)?

You can still find DVD Decrypter at www.doom9.org in the Download section under Descrambling/Ripping Tools.

yea, seriously check out the guide on this site, with dvdencryptor and some others you'll have perfect dvd quality AVI's in no time.
