I'm new to Vegas and im trying to do the invert effect to only part of a clip so I splitted but when I added the effect it went on the other parts too how do you make it that only one part of the clip has the effect not the whole clip.

get 2 copies of the clip an lay one on top and add invert to it then crop/cookie cutter the prt you watn to be inverted then place the non inverted clip under it and it should look somthing like this depending on were you make the invert show
