Vegas for one. I would give that a shot, though if you think a little outside the box you can do a lot of stuff with WMM, but if it's a lot of effects I would say Vegas or Adobe Premiere for sure.

WMM 2 WITH custom fx. Credit the sources though. Or make a note if you create your own. Wait a minute, You could ALSO purchase a crapload of new fx for WMM 2. About 180 fx just for $49.00 @ windowsmoviemakers.net. But then I'd rather save that much + an extra $10 or so to get Magix. As I read somewhere, you should get an upgrade (a better editor) if you create your own fx. WMM 2 is not an editor of choice when it goes to fx. Maybe the simple cheesy ones that are good only when pulled off right, but not really. I also read that somewhere. Or someting like that.
