Not really profit... more like making ends meet for the site. so say they get about 150 per drive on average thats only 3600 out of the 30,600 wanted also roll back on how old the HDDs are and chances are minus the server costs after buying (running them) them just break even.

But hopefully every thing goes according to plan and they get at least 10,000 donated

I will not take part in this as i have no money and nor do i wish to try to take a HDD from them if it could get them money

The last two times I donated through paypal, it took weeks (and an email asking about it) before it was registered on the org. Is someone going to be on hand process donations quickly?
