The 2006 Logo Contest Begins

Hey All,

The 2006 AnimeMusicVidoes.org Logo Contest has now begun. Site regulars know the drill. Be sure to read the contest rules carefully. Here is the current schedule of events (official schedule on the logo rules page):

1. Logo Submission Deadline: Feb. 5, 2006
2. Nominations Begin: Feb 6, 2006
3. Nominations End: Feb 18, 2006
4. Final Voting Begins: Feb 19, 2006
5. Final Voting Ends: Mar. 4, 2006
6. Winner Announced: Mar. 5, 2006

The schedule gives you a few weeks to get your designs together. Please don't wait until the last minute to get entries in. ^_^ Remember that the logo should look good small (see image in upper-right corner of main site) and on banners.

This year, in addition to fame, the logo contest winner will receive a prize from the big prize bucket listed on the VCA page (exact level to be determined). If you have any questions about the contest, please post here.

So i can understand this the right way, part four says: "All logo submissions must contain two parts. Submissions that do not include both parts will be rejected:
A static image (jpeg or gif) of the logo.
The logo source material (project file)."
The static image is the logo, and the source material would be say....the image(s) i hack to bits FOR the logo, right?

If I'm reading it correctly, it would be your project file from Illustrator or Photoshop or The GIMP or whatever, not a mere image file.

how long until the logos are gona stop being "pending"... just curious if you're going to look at them all in one sitting at the end of the submission process or see them here and there from time to time before the final deadline?
