I would be very happy to help out with your guide too.
I know a great deal about Windows MovieMaker both versions 1 and 2. I personally use Adobe, Ulead, VideoWave, VDub, Snagit and a host of others.
Just give me a buzz if you think I can help too.
By the way, Mr. Roberts, I love your videos

I have a week off and all I use is Movie Maker 2.
exp. I have been using Movie Maker 2 since the first day of its release
(mm1 was horriable)
I just taught myself how to do screen capes.

Making anime music videos is what I do.
Its not my job, its something I like to do.

Newbie Checking In On Guides...
Howdy, ya'll.
AbsoluteDestiny, do you need anything on Pinnacle Studio? That is the program I tend to use the most in editing. (Cheap and easy is good. )

There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, where the sea's asleep and the rivers dream, people made of smoke, and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice and somewhere else the tea is getting cold...

. Could you use a Specailist with AiST Products?
1) MediaMania is the oldest and most bizzare, it looks like nothing on the market today.
2) Movie 3, 4, 5, 6, Studio 6 - all basically the same except for creature features.
3) Real Media is about as low as we can go; I've still got the SDK's to VIVO,
so I might have a little insite to a few Video Tricks with Real's VIVO purchase.
( VIVO was first on the scene, Real Audio came 6 months later. )

You don't even mention RealProducer?
For shame!
Actually, I never got the program...
I wonder if they still have RealSlideShow... I was a master at that back in the day...

Hey Ian,
How about the DebugMode FrameServer option for Premiere Pro? I'm sorry I had to put you and Alana through hell last week; but as the three of us found out, Premiere Pro through out all of its 3rd party codec support and about 90% of all codecs..with the exception of corePNG gave bad artifacting after export.
However, I was able to finaly get Frameserver working with both Virtual Dub and TMPG Encoder.
Did you want to add a section about this for the Pro guide? with screenshots?
