I've now implemented a PayPal donation instant verification piece to the Org's donation process. If you use the link found on the pledge status page ("my donations" on the member main page), you can have your donation instantly recorded and Donut access granted. It sure beats the hours (sometimes many many hours) it may take between donation and recording that is the current system. This piece is still in "beta" format, but I have tested it and it seems to work nicely.
The only small issue is that you must use the button from this site to start the process. Donating directly from PayPal still needs to be verified by hand since the major identifying information is not passed back and forth between servers. If some of the regulars here would like to test it with some $1 donations (not from credit card source), I would really appreciate it.
