For the most past, we've pretty much just copied over the same categories every year. The org has never had a psychedelic category, but I plan to gauge interest in a few category changes after this year's VCAs.

Re: 2019 VCA Updates, Questions & Feedback Thread
On account of only maybe one video in "Lip Sync" not being from comedy or parody/trailers, I'd propose calling it the "Sloppy Seconds" category.
-But slightly more serious, since "Lip Sync" has always umbrellad every other variety of sync, it would be a service to remove the "Lip" from it. Some people get flustered over those things.
There is one complaint about the gooforms, but it's nothing you really have control over.
Let's say you vote incrementally and update your submitted form. A little dialog box appears at the bottom of the page (something irrelevant about using a link so others could update the form as well), the sort that doesn't go away at all and selecting redirects elsewhere. The problem is that the last element in the dropdown box with the catagories--submit--is obscured by the dang box. It can be rolled just below the message and--if you don't catch the last few pixels of the message's shadow--you can hit submit that way.

I just increased the height of the google form window, and so that should help remedy that problemspoondiddly wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 6:29 pmThere is one complaint about the gooforms, but it's nothing you really have control over.

Re: 2019 VCA Updates, Questions & Feedback Thread
I do appreciate a larger window (little easier navigating and all) but it's mostly because the drop down box's elements stretch to the bottom, and Google never thought ahead and created an obvious way to dismiss a message like that. Thanks for trying though.
A round of applause for everyone who put together the spreadsheet of links. That's crazy handy, and I know how long stuff like that can take.
