Guide: How to upload AMVs

Hey there. Trying to upload my second AMV here and Filezilla keeps disconnecting and restarting the upload (causing the progress to go from say, 11% all the way back down to 1or 2%). I left the upload going for about 2 hours in hopes that it would finally complete, but it hasn't. Any tips? And how long does this ftp information stay valid for?

not really sure why it's restarting the upload when it disconnects...try edit->settings->transfers and set the timeout to 0 and see if that helps.

Not sure how long the ftp login is valid for, but you can always cancel a current upload request and make another (giving you another login/password combo)

I think there was a page that allowed you to get a new username/password, but the last time I saw that page was about 3 years ago...so I don't exactly remember how to get to it

You don't use your member name and password for uploading.

First, you have to enter video information into the catalog. After you finish that, the "enter new video" button in the editors group will change to "upload video."
That's where you will be given the username/password combination that you need to use.

Hello!

I just posted new video information for new AMV on animemusicvideo site, but even if I change premiere date to past, i cant upload video.
Probably because i added new song artist and new anime title :\

Can someone please check it? (It's Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 and artist Siddharta)

My problem is that I cannot connect to Kero. I get a "Connection timed out" message. I'm quite certain that I'm not running a firewall. Could there be a firewall running in the network I use for Internet access? I'm using my college dorm's network.
