I released the complete version of an AMV in progress

This was a few months back, and I didn’t see anything in the in progress section about what to do with the thread once I completed the AMV’s. And I had already announced it on the regular announcements section shortly afterwards, too.

I’m sorry if I should’ve asked about this sooner, but I was unsure of exactly what to do, and I didn’t know if maybe it would be taken down automatically after a certain period of time or something. So what next?

I imagine that the thread that you started in the Works in Progress subforum will eventually automatically lock after a certain amount of time has passed. I don't think any further action is required on your behalf.

Yes, that was the thread, and that’s what I meant. And thank you for clearing all of that up. And since you asked, yes, I would like the thread to be locked since the AMV has been completed.
