Local not considered Downloadable in the Super Search?

Hi there,

I've noticed that when I try to narrow down a super search by specifying Downloadable, all the AMVs that are Local downloads only are not included in the list! Is it supposed to be like that? Also, there is no option for specifying only Local downloads like you can with the Direct or Indirect ones. This is kind of annoying, because if I want to see the Local ones, I have to look through all the videos that aren't downloadable at all, and that can number in the thousands, depending on what I'm looking for. Is there a plan to change this in the future, or am I stuck with searching for Locals in a sea of Nos?

I've donated, but when I use the 'downloadable' option local still isn't included. Oh, I can look just for local vids, but it would be nice to see all the videos that are downloadable - including both local and non-local vids. Is this impossible, or am I missing something?

Heh, I must not have said it clearly. ^_^;;

I can use the 'local' search option and get local links. They're downloadable because they're local.

But these downloadable 'local' links aren't included in the 'downloadable' option when I use it. It just gives the direct and indirect links.

Now, I can search for *just* indirect, *just* direct, *just* local. And I can search for all the videos that are downloadable...right?

But I can't. The 'downloadable' option doesn't include the local links - it adds the indirect and direct - to get the local links I have to search *just* for local links. So the count for 'downloadable' vids doesn't include locally hosted vids

My question: Are we supposed to be able to see the local videos as well as the indirect and direct when we use the 'downloadable' option? Or are local vids not counted as downloadable?

And my reason for wanting local vids to be counted in the 'downloadable' option: Finding out how many vids are available for an anime would be a lot easier if I didn't have to count all the local vids (through a 'Just Local' search) and then subract the ones that have an indirect or direct link as well as a local before adding up the vids that get listed on the 'downloadable' search. The way it is now, downloadable just means Direct + Indirect. It doesn't include Local.

So are local vids not counted as downloadable for donating members or am I missing something? ^_^;;

Maybe I should mention it in the site suggestion...just to have another thing to whine about.

I like to know how many of the vids listed for an anime are actually available (it's definitely not the same number listed on the 'most used anime' list - at least not for yyh) so it's a pet peeve of mine. According to the list there are that many vids, but only one third of those are actually available - if that. ^"^;;
