Hihi! I was just putting up a video this morning, and I seem to be having problems. I put all the information in, but the uploady-dealy says I didn’t (an oh-so-orginal dilemma, I know). I THINK the problem may be that the anime I used hasn’t been confirmed. (it’s ‘Zetsuai Cathexis.’)

Now, I have a vague recollection of reading here that the anime needs to have confirmation before being used, so I was wondering - is there a way to do this from my end, or is confirming anime one of those mighty powers wielded only by site administrators? (Ah, yes. The Admins. They have the power, and it is good.)

So. Uhm. Yes. Any helpful prods in the right direction would be much appreciated. Otherwise, I’ll just sit here scratching my head in a ape-like manner wondering were in my life I could possibly have gone wrong. ^__^

I've confirmed it but I dont know much about it.

How does this differ from things like Zetsuai 1989(?) and Gold or whatever then names of the things I've seen/heard in the past are...

Oh, thank you so much! I was poking around trying to figure out what I missed, wondering if I somehow pulled an Eddie and broke the internet. :D

‘Zetsuai 1984’ by itself is an OVA made from the manga canon story. ‘Zetsuai Bronze since 1984’ is the second OVA, usually lumped together with the first. And 'Zetsuai Cathexis' is a series of official 'music videos' that the creators made to look like the main character (who is a musician) made them - kinda like a third OVA. Basically, it's the two main characters running around in all sorts of situations, many of which aren’t in the actual series, while randomly singing into microphones. One minute, they’ll be in the future, shooting each other with high-tech weapons, and the next, they’ll be in a church trussed up like angels. It’s Weird (with a capital ‘W’), but oh so very neat. ^_^

I think you enter all the informatin normaly (selecting new anime or an existing anime to be confirmed). You won't beable to upload it unless your video has a confirmed anime. So you wait.

I would check thew the database a few times to see if there is a confirmed anime already. It may not be where you think it is. lain for example is listed under Serial Experiments lain.
If they do confirm the anime but you have a difrent spelling or diffrent version of the name, it won't go thew.

Example:
Hellsing Season 2
Hellsing Second Season

I know that the second season of Hellsing donsn't exist (Yet) but its just an example.

Depends on how busy the mods are.
