Manga topic?

Do you think there should be a manga thread? I was acctually suprised not to see one.

Do you mean 'Manga Forum'? Anyone can try to post a manga thread.

While people have been known to incorporate manga stills, and other anime related still images into AMVs, I don't know if that would be an addition to the Forums that would be necessary. It could be another big digression from the AMV namesake.

Seeing it in the flesh like that, so to speak, I don't know how swell that would be. Just looking at that, I think it would lead some people to ask for futher consignation... And before you know it, we have a significantly larger Forum index (a lot more for the moderators to moderate, as if they didn't have enough already). I don't even want to think of some individuals asking for a "Manga Scans" forum [cold shivers] by proxy.

The general music and general anime forums seem like a natural extension of the two major components of AMVs. (Anime footage + Music)

I'm not really opposed to it, just trying to see the overall merit of it.

Well, you could just post about manga in the anime board. I dont think the mods would mind (unless AD is having a bad day

can it include origonal ideas and existing manga. like some ones that we have ideas for too? then it would rock.

yes they would and they will lock alll manga threads in general anime.

There have been a few threads in General Anime before that have discussed manga. The ones that were about actual manga and stayed on topic weren't locked. Any threads about ideas about making your own manga aren't on topic, and I'll lock them. As it has been said in other threads, there are other forums on the iternet that I'm sure will be more than fine to help you develop your writing and story ideas.

somehow related to AMVs,
I don't find it necessary to create a manga
forum section of its own.

If it's boring, no one is forcing you to stay.
I'm sure there are other plentiful forums that may suit YOUR preference of 'not boring,' but so far a-m-v.org will stay pretty solid to AnimeMusicVideos related talk.

Oh, and again, please refrain from posting on already dead topics...
