Post by untouchable212 » Tue Nov 16, 2004 2:20 pm

Props to Badmartial arts on this one, its unnecessary to switch to Firefox or anything else, just do this;

here's how to fix it.

Tools/Internet Options/Security tab

Click on "Custom Level"

Scroll through that list until you find "Automatic prompting for file downloads" Click on "Enable" under that. Bam. Easy, right?

Only for IE 6.0 with Service Pack 2 installed. Not sure if this worked with earlier versions/packs.
Life's short.

There are far more important reasons to not use IE, however, such as the abhorent security flaws and the fact that even Microsoft employees do not use it (in fact the official position of Microsoft on using IE is "don't".
