i had a thread locked and it is just like the others an idea for a manga. idon't knoe why they would lock a thread that's on topic and in the only place it fits.

Indeed. There's a clear distinction between anime and fan-fiction. The anime forum allows for discussion of anime and manga, both of which are reasonably well-defined visual media. Fan-fiction lies outside the medium already - not to mention, hardly visual.

I would suggest you look to other anime forums - of which there are great many, and most of which are rather welcoming to fan-fiction. If you would like to promote your project here, put it in your signature. If you'd really like to post something, how about you draw some anime-style pictures for the Anime Art Thread, and post them there (and if people like them, perhaps including a link to your fiction next to them would be reasonable).

how about admins stop being so damn lazy and at least post in a thread before they lock it, explaining why its bein locked. or PM whoever made the thread if its that specific.

Generally, I try to. Many times when no note is left by a moderator it's because that a thread has been locked for a similar reason and is still very recent, and generally on the same page, or a member has already pointed out why the thread should be locked. As to Mr. Switcher, his thread was locked for the same reason as Zero Beat's, and I believe that it was even on (or close) to the same day.

And if you are actually wondering why a thread of yours or anothers got locked, feel free to PM me, and I'll tell you. I don't mind. Really.
