My friend's friend said that, if you don't donate, after a while, you won't be able to download any more local AMV's anymore. Is this true?

No. On the other hand, if nobody donated, then the videos wouldnt be up in the first place.

True. It's just, lately, I haven't been able to download ANY new vids. Mainly, cause most of them just say NO.

If you make a pledge, that is, a promise to donate money to the site, and you never follow through on it, THEN download priviledges will be revoked either until you pay it or until 1 year passes.

On the other hand, if you never make a pledge to donate, then you will never have the right to download taken away.
