Anyone got the answers?

Before anyone tries correct me on which section this is supposed to be on, think of this subject being about amvs in general.

To get down to it, I can't find out what is going on with the servers, there doesn't seem to be any discussions about there being a problem. Plus, all the problems that have happened seemed to be "fixed" so says the moderators. They say whatever recent problems are fixed and everything is fine, but I alas I can't download any music videos due to a "server error, see the forums for details"

Is this a new problem, or is this old?

Look at the main page. The RAID array hasn't been fully restored yet.

Same thing. What's to discuss?

The fact is, there's something wrong with the physical server, and there's nothing anyone but its' owners, i.e. Phade, derobert et al, can do right now.

No amount of bitching will bring it back sooner than its' RAID array is fixed

Sorry to come off as bitching, I'm just frustrated that I couldn't find the answers I wanted at the time, which I why I'd asked in the first place.

But really, it just seems like people are overloading the administration here, heh. You'd think they'd have their hands full with the servers already.

Yeah, sorry, I'm a creature of habit and alot of forums I go to don't have a front page with news, so I, by habit, try to check the forum articles themselves.

I apologize for my attitude as well, I know you were trying to help, and I was still frustrated, hence the "snide remarks" comment. I'm sorry.
