We need more people to vote for the banners

I'd rather spend time time looking at great art that isn't in banner form, too limited for space. I hate half the banners anyways...

Since the admins make us rate an AMV(using stars or w/e), maybe they can implement something similar to get people voting on banners.

There's a logical leap you're making and I have no idea how you're making it.

You have to rate an AMV as a consequence of a choice you made. There is no equivalent action for banners.

Why should I be forced to vote on a bunch of banners that were uploaded independently of my decision? I guess you could help me popularize the "reject all banners" link with that idea, but I don't see any other good that could possibly come out it.

haha, too bad teh admins dont know which banners deserve to be even voted upon, most of them arent even great, a plain bg, and a very crappy animation of only 3frames, thats teh kinds i hate -_- there shouldnt b animated ones cause of the limited space, its pointless!

Why, again, do we need a constant rolling contest for these? And why do people care so much when it's totally unrelated to the main point of the site?

It's not their job to reject bad banners; it's their job to DQ banners for breaking the rules. As long as a banner satisfies the banner contest rules, it deserves to be voted upon.

Whether or not it deserves to be USED is a different story, and that's why we vote on them.
