Compressing your source clips will not affect the size of the edited AMV. All that it will do is make the video look crappier.
As far as how to compress, you can Read ErMaC and AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides (aka Read <a href=http://www.a-m-v.org/guides/avtech31/>ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides</a>), which covers compressing both your video and audio to make a file that is much smaller.

ok i have finaly got it compressed now ijust got to get the smaller amv on and repleace the kong sized amv
