Not reaching the kero FTP server.

I know there's probably tons of persons who already have posted about
the exactly same problem, but alas, I could not find any who had the same
problem as me and a solution to it.
When I try to connect to Kero.AnimeMusicVideos.org with my username and pass this is what comes up : Connection failed ( Connection timed out )
No matter how many times I've tried I get the same result. I tried shutting
off the windows firewall, norton applications. Heck, most of the stuff.
And with my experience with FTP servers there's no need to go into the router
to open up ports, is there?
Those are the only things I was able to subject to as the mischief makers.

Please. If anyone has a solution to this. I would be most grateful to hear it.

Did you try passive mode FTP?

That was what I was using. Passive mode that is.. :/
