site awards

hey, ive been on alot of furm sites and i have made the suggestion to alot of people but this forum site is very big and i dont know if you already do this so if its a tried and succesful/ complete failure, please just ignore me.

when the forum site i used tobe on started to get a bit old (not saying this one is or anything) they decided in order to encourage new pots they would hold awards. for example they would post a topic such as 'Who is the most loveble member" , 'who is the most valuble poster', etc. people would nominate people (not allowed to nominate themselves) and after one week of open nominations a poll was held to decide who the people on th site wanted to get the award. when the winner was decided a volenteer from the site made them an animated signature with the title of their award and the year that they won it, and this was done evry year.

just a suggestion

What would be the point of that? I can open my image editor right now and make a signature reading "animemusicvideos.org's sexiest, smartest poster" and no-one can tell me to remove it. These things don't work in gigantic forums such as this one.

Don't see the point in them. They're just big popularity contests ¬_¬

Everyone knows that the so called 'popular' members (every forum has them) will win all the awards. Happens every time.

Momoko No Densetu: your sig is too big. Limit is 40 pixels high per image - 80 pixel total.

but isn't 40 pixels and 80 pixels total sometyhing like... 40 X 2 Pixels

80 pixels total height (i.e. 2 sigs 40x600 each).

ok then, was just a suggestion it has worked on other sis ive been on but when you member pages r in the thousands i spose it might be a bit of a problem
