I had a thread lock under general music.
Here I got off work thought i would look up vids by song I didn't find one listed and brought it up under general music. I went to sleep and when I got up and went back to pick up the thread. Maybe to try to start a discussion to perk interest in the song and it was locked. Did i break a rule? I looked at all the stickies and couldn't find one. So If i did could someone tell me so i don't do it again by mistake.
I hope i asked this in the right forum.
quick question?

Actually, it fell under the category discussed in this thread. There wasn't really much one could respond to. Ok, so that song isn't in there. And? A better approach would have been to go into AMV suggestions and say, 'Hey! This is a cool song. No one's used it. Someone should do an AMV with it. Any takers? Ideas?' Your first post needs to get people's attention, spark up an interesting conversation relevant to some facet of AMV making, and it needs to make it clear to the readers what you want the thread to accomplish and what exactly is being discussed. Not just make an announcement so you can go back later and start a convo. (Unless its announcing your newest AMV in AMV announcements, but that's a different story.) Otherwise, it will be locked for being a pointless thread.
