rule/guideline for journal usage

Yes, yes, lynch mob, etc. Why don't we just take the time to find every single person abusing their journals or creating multiple accounts that they only use to give themselves opinions, replies on video announcement threads, and flame other users via the journals from the safety of a second account?

I know he is. I'm going to tell him to stop before he starts to get in trouble. I've also tried yelling at them in the journal to get them to stop, but it does nothing.

strange... you also know getAIDSndie FROM ANOTHER FORUM I'm noticing a pattern here... hmmmn... so are all your sns from another forum you are on? but i guess getting your "friends" to create multiple accounts isnt the same as creating them yourself... hmmmn

and yea, as i mentioned before "yelling" isnt the answer... if you tried asking nicely they might have tried to back off, cause when you ASK it comes off more like a favor rather than someone getting on their case and up their ass... people dont want to do favors for nags, jerks, and people who try to force their will on others...

people will react to what you put out, and perhaps the reason people are reacting badly to you is because youre doing nothing but putting out crap. perhaps you need some lessons in "please" and "thank you" cause seriously bitching at someone isnt going to get the results you want, the only thing it will gain you is more drama.

AND as i said before, THIS THREAD IS NOT THE SALEM WITCH TRIALS... this thread was NOT ment for this: "point out the people who offend cornwiggle and get them burnt at the stake" and pointing fingers in this thread IS NOT going to solve the situation.

now come up with a real solution or leave, cause you arent helping your own case, you are only making yourself look worse.

I completely agree. Katie sent me a pm asking nicely for me to cut down on the journals a bit and stop chatting. Paizuri asked nicely in this thread. I was happy to comply because they asked nicely and were reasonable and gave good reasons other than "That annoys me. That's so stupid. No one cares." So now I just do one big entry a day and make an effort to use the pms if I have anything to say to anyone that's more than a passing comment that already goes with what I was typing anyway. 2 entries tops if its of some importance to me. Granted, I usually have something to say making fun of the journal situation before I go to my regular entry, but the point is they asked nicely, so I complied. If you had come up and started bitching at me, I probably would have been compelled to keep going, maybe be worse, mostly out of spite. Because as I told Eva-fan, humans are mean and spiteful beings. So, that being said, so far the major ideas are limiting journal entries, putting the pm button somewhere on the main page or on the journal page, and having to check the box to make your entry public instead of checking the box to make it private. So what constructive ideas do you have?
