editing posts

is there any way to edit a post once its been submitted?
I always make mistakes or forget to add something so it just looks like I double post all the time.

there is no edit button (except in the mep forum and reccomended amv forum IIRC)
and there will continue to be no edit button (you can probably find more than a few topics of that nature discused in the site feedback forum)

so oh well...if you double post it won't kill anyone.

I forgot to add, that if you make an offensive comment or give a link to a illegal downloads site, that a mod/admin can modify or remove a post
