since we are on the subject, why is it that when i go to download a music Video, this page comes up?

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/window ... d=80040154

to the left, my windows media player also appears. There was only 1 video i was able to download, and i think it was "AnimeGuild-Wolf Hunter-the end"

If you know what the prob. is then thanks

Bingo. Hey, Phade's a programmer, and I'm a programmer, systems administrator, and all-around Unix geek. What do you expect? You're lucky its not a CLI.

Hmm, an a-m-v.org CLI. That sounds like a neat idea...

This is a noobish solution, but have you tried changing the settings in your media player? I set my windows media player so it can't connect to the internet - that means it doesn't try to stream videos I download, and it doesn't take up bandwidth searching for the information for amvs (which, of course, have no such information to find - waste of time and connection speed). Just open your wmp and you should be able to change that option.

May not help with the problem, but it should be worth a shot.

That's because I was afraid to ask questions when I joined. :? New members were getting flamed left and right.

So now, if I think I can help, I will - because I've been there. ^"^

Ok, so how do you get it to stop streaming. I tried to get it to stop, but it still does? Anyone know of an answer?
