I've seen this idea proposed before I started work on the new system, but I didn't want to do it, at least for the first iteration.

Otherwise, eh... I'm skeptical many people will take advantage of this, same as with AMV alerts.

On average, 25 to 40 emails go out per day. Over 1,350 people have set some sort of alert.

I have to admit, I signed up for several people's alerts, and I'm yet to get one, though. And I haven't totally figured out the feature - that said, I've no doubt it will gradually catch on.

Did you sign up for email notification or just website notification? If it's the website only then you gotta go to 'my alerts' to see them. Otherwise you might have the orgs email blocked by a spam filter or something. Or, perhaps, you just picked very boring people to stalk and they haven't done anything of note recently.

All of your alerts are defined as "Online". (Web only) See the bottom of the Members Main Page to see them. Set them to "Daily" to get emails daily. (well, when one is triggered) Or "Weekly" or "Monthly", similarly.

Here's what you can do about that:

A)Become a hermit
B)Stop making and watching AMVs
C)Destroy the internet
D)Waste thousands of dollars worth of therapy to learn how to supress your negative emotions
E)STFU and deal with it.

The world isn't made of sugar and lollipops, and you'll have to learn to deal with negative feedback, son.
