Screwy .Org Error Messages, 504 errors, and other such fun

Hi. I got a little Problem.
I uploaded my videos to www.youtube.com (The reason being is that I'm not sure of FTP's and YouTube doesn't use an FTP system for video uploads.)

Anyway, I thought that since I had uploaded my videos there. I could link the videos back to AMV.
And I got this on Step 4: Links

ERROR: Link is not valid: 200 - OK

Common Problems:
* Protocal required: http://, https://, ftp://
* No closing / at the end of a directory:
http://www.site.com/video/directory should be http://www.site.com/video/directory/
* You just typed the name in wrong.

Now the 1st bullet-point is ok. I checked the address. Its fine.
The 2nd one doesn't work. I tried several times.
And the 3rd is wrong cause I copied the whole address.

You can't directly link from youtube.
This is because of some protection measures on the video stream. (or something like that)

you may be able to make an indirect link, but I wouldn't reccomend it.

the quality of youtube leaves a lot to be desired (more times than not), and it's probably better just to upload your video to kero (one of the sites' servers)

why are you not sure about ftp? it's a similar system as the internet...except for that ftp transfers files (File Transfer Protocall...Hyper Text Transfer Protocall. Two very similar names)
For some reason...I want to say that ftp is more secure than the internet, but I don't have anything to back this up

if you change your mind, filezilla is free to use, and has a pretty intuitive interface

I'm not sure about FTP's because I don't know them. Not that I don't know what they do. I know what they do. Its just that I've never used one before. I'm a complete noob on the operation (How to use) of an FTP.

Well, that was to answer your question.
Anyway, I used Filezilla and I guess it went okay. The movie's there. I've got no spyware or virus warnings. So I guess its okay.

Anyway, the link doesn't work because it needs to be shifted around some before it can even work as a direct linkup, and it doesn't work on AMVorg because the ppl can't download it directly from that link.

FTP is REALLY easy to use.

(Note: I use Filezilla.) You type in the info they give you (don't type in the port though..that'll be chosen on it's own..), then hit Quickconnect and it'll connect to AMVorg. When it does, drag the file you wanna upload to the right hand side directory thingy, and it should start uploading (for me, a 70MB+ video takes about 25-30min.) It doesn't take much more than that. Once you do it the first time, you'll go "Oh, that was easy!", trust me.. That's what i did.. I've uploaded plenty of videos using it (3 of mine, one of sis's, and one of my friend's..) so yeah..and i've put stuff up on a website and downloaded stuff using it as well.. It's alot like the net, just not as fancy.. XP

I keep getting a message from the FTP client that it can't resolve the host, and I don't know where else to go for help, anyone know what I can do to fix this?

are you putting kero.animemusicvideos.org into the address bar?
this error can occur if you misspell the host name. Also make sure that your firewall is down

I copied pasted everything pretty much, and I've tried like five times, and I can't figure out how to download the Fritzilla one or whatever it is

I just tried another FTP client, and it's still not working. I think I'm getting bogus hosting sites or something

what do you mean by that?
could you post a screenshot of the error?
if not, post exactly what you are typing into the address bar.
