Whats going on????!!?!?
When you click the green 'local' link what happens? Does it take you to the next page and give you a file (asking what folder you want to save it in)? Have you tried redownloading the file - while you're still on that page it should say something like "if the download did not start automatically click here" - have you tried right-clicking and saving that link?

Does it say what the target video's size or 'duration' time is supposed to be? The vid may not have uploaded properly.

Also, you say it saves in a heartbeat - is it saving the html page and not the vid? If you're using some sort of download manager it probably won't save the video - it'll just save the html page. You can't right-click save on the first 'local' link - you have to click it (some download managers work - you might try Opera if you *have* to use a download manager). Are you using Internet Explorer or some other type of internet program?

More info needed. ^_^
Holy smokes lets see if I can answer your questions. :D Yes the local link takes me to the other page and it pops up asking where I want to save it. I have tried clicking on the extra option if it doesnt automatically start but havent right clicked it. I dont think it is downloading the html because I double click on what it does save and media player opens up but the length is 0:00 and it stops as soon as it starts. I dont have a download manager but I have this thing my ISP put out, supposedly speeds up dial up connections. And finally, yes I do use Internet explorer. Thanks for your help so far :D

I'm not exactly sure what he means either, but I don't get streamed media, so you might try this:

In wmp go to 'tools', 'options', 'network,' and under 'streaming protocols' make sure *none* of the boxes are checkmarked. And while you're in there, you might try going to 'player' and unchecking the option 'connect to the internet' - so it can't even try to connect.

If that doesn't work then you probably aren't streaming the vids. And just to be anal ^_^;; don't double click on anything when you're trying to download the vids. One click (or a right-click save as for the "if it didn't download automatically click here" option) should be enough.

Booo, it didnt work. Same problem..... It keeps downloading a very much incomplete file. It saves the video as far as I can tell but only the first split second of it which isnt useful at all since its jsut a black screen. I tried right clicking the "if it doesnt automatically dl click HERE" and the same thing happens. I turned off anything I could find that remotly looked like it would make my media player stream it and not download it. In fact maybe it would be better to stream it... at least I could see the freakin thing -_-;;

So let me see if I understand this... You click on the local download, click proceed and then wait for the download to start. At this point a window opens and asks if you want to open the file or save it to your computer. You are pressing save it to your computer aren't you? Do not open the file there and then... I think it just goes to your temporary internet folder if you do that and depending on your settings this folder may automatically empty itself if it gets too full.

If none of that helps, you could always grab Opera and then when the download fails try and resume it (after a minute otherwise you'll be kicked off for hammering the servers).

I guess I could try this Opera but Ive never used it before, where do I get it. Plus as far as I can tell the download doest fail. I see the download bar fill up all the way as soon as I tell it where to save. I guess it thinks its getting the whole video and its not, really quite frustrating -_-;;
