I'm for what Otohiko said about making a best anime sticky.

Honestly, it'll just have to do. Everyone should lower their expectations of the thing, ignore the stupid threads and encouragre others to do the same. Of course the other half of this plan would be members posting more non-stupid threads. this brings back memories of my old plan to sweep out the OT forum.
OK, enough of the sentimental stuff. I'd like to close with a quote from a Halloween episode of The Simpsons.
If people stop paying attention to it, pretty soon it goes away.

I say go for brute dictatorship! Every time there's thread of that type, immediately lock it before anyone responds.

The fact is, people always look for someone else to geovern their actions. They do what they want, when they want to do it, because they are looking for someone else to step in and say, "You can't do that". People look to other people to define boundaries, and it's most especially severe here on the .Org. Something goes right, no one gets the credit, someone(Thing) goes wrong, and it's time to complain to the mods. The fact of the matter is, you're all acting like sheep. but the thing is, when everyone runs off the cliff, and you follow suit, you can't complain as you plummet to the rocks below: your feet were under your control the whole time.

The moral? Govern yourselves. You don't want to see unnecessary posts? don't make any. You don't want to see vulgarity? keep it clean. You want to make a change? ACT.

I'm sorry, I feel like I may just have misrepresented myself.
