Rating your own AMV?
The main page is asking me to rate my own AMV since I watched it... but I just don't feel comfortable judging my own work (I obviously have a biased opinion)... can I just ignore the message or should I just rate my own video?

Re: Rating your own AMV?
Rate it 3/5 which is a "neutral" vote.
Otherwise you can decide to leave it there without a rating, but you'll only be able to just download 9 amvs at a time instead of 10 since you have a video sitting in the voting queue. If by any chance you download other vids of yours and leave them there, this might eventually end up with you HAVING to rate at least one of them to be able to download a video at a time.

Surely someone who has made a video at least has their own opinion of it? Rate it how you feel, bias be damned.

Haha, I think that happens when you watch it with the preview. Anyway, even if you rate 1/5 or 5/5 sooner or later it will go up or down depending on how really good it is. It's not like 1 score is going to change anything.
