pledge???

what the hell is pledge?? >.< i m not allowed to download vids because of this "pledge" ? can anybody tell me what to do?

It says next to your avatar that you defaulted on your donation.

This means that you promised to donate the .org some money, but then didn't send it. I'm not sure about the consequences of that, but... let's just say that's not a nice thing to do

Somehow you have made a promiss to give money to the website but didn't fulfill this promiss. Therefore you are not allowed to download local videos anymore.

Here's what the rules say:

4) Once a member makes a pledge, that member is obligated to fulfill that pledge; pledges cannot be canceled for any reason.

And

10) If the pledge is not received by due date, another reminder will be sent.
11) If the pledge is not received by due date + 14 days, another reminder will be sent.
12) If the pledge is not received by due date + 21 days, pledge will be considered default and member is no longer allowed to download local copies of videos; privileges will be restored after pledge payment is complete or 1 year after the pledge

Like Otohiko said..it looks like at some point in time you promised to donate something to the help out with the cost of hosting local vids. And since the amount you pledged wasn't recived in the amount of time alloted, your ablitily to download local videos has been suspened untill your pledge is recived or until one year has passed...[/url]
