uploading

how do i use an ftp (n00b) and i have smart ftp because i am going to upload a video i made not sure if it is good though

hi redrum,

smart ftp should be fine for uploading your video. i use a different ftp program, but it should work the same.

so just open your ftp program, enter the host address (nago.animemusicvideos.org, enter the user ID and password (these were given to you when you submitted a request for upload) and hit ok.

then find your directory of your amv on your hard drive and drag it to the server directory.

then confirm your upload on the org (this window should pop up after you upload your video).

i just wanted to ask where you can upload your AMV file.
I don't know if it is the right place to ask but I really wanted to know!
I hope you can help me to find a webspace which doesn't cost something *really hoping that*

you can upload your amv file for free on this website, just cause Phade is so nice.

if you want to upload your file somewhere other than the org for free, you can try angelfire.com, which can store up to a 20 mb file. but angelfire has bandwidth limitations (i think a gig/month or something.)
