Something that bugs me in it's non-logicy ways.

Okay... Here's something I don't understand.

When you have an amv up and the biography for it (the video) is up, you must wait for 3 opinions in order for the overall scores to show up at the bottom of said biography page.

Now what I don't understand here is, if it takes ATLEAST 3 opinions for said score to show up, then why can the general public only view 2 of those opinons unless they give an opinion themselfs?

I mean it makes no sense, it's purely ill-logical in my eyes. Would you please explain this to me?

Probably a throwback to the days when it took 3 opions to be listed on the top 10%.

I'm not sure exactly why it was chosen but I can give you a possible reason.

Imagine the first opinion you get, someone gives you all 2s and 3s...

then nobody else wants to download the video.

Oh no no, i think you missunderstood or I said it wrong.

What I ment was, I understand that it takes 3 opinions for your score to show up, what I don't understand is, why can ONLY 2 opinions show up on the general Public opinion page for your video?

Only 2 opinions are allowed to be shown as an extra incentive for people to leave an opinion - so they can read what other people have said.

2 is pretty much enough to give an idea of what people like about the video, although I guess we could make it a percentage of the overall opinions for those with many ops....

I once sat and read every opinion of euphoria... I think people who don't want to give one for a video so high like that should get to read something so funny.

While on the subject, is there any possibility that we could be given the option to make all opinions public? I don't quite remember the reasoning for this to begin with, and I can't really think of any reasons why it would be bad.

I don't really understand this either. It would be very nice to be able to read the opinions. I suppose it could be considered an encouragement to leave an opinion tho - to read all the other ops. But then if there's already ops, would coercing people into leaving ops be useful to anyone.

The problem I have right now, is with the public opinions - there's no indication on the video page if there is any or not! Considering how many editors make no ops public, it'd be nice for the main vid page to have the link read public opinions (2 availible).

Not really...opinions could be biased because people either don't like the anime or the music, also there are people who will flame in the opinion and that won't give much of an insight toward your AMV.

I agree more then 2 should be shown.
