Video Problems!!!!!!!
I wasn't sure where to go for this but I have been downloading alot of videos and numerous ones come up where they have errors on them. Like they will start playing and stop at one scene and the music keeps going, and also ones with codecs that don't play the video. And I was wondering if there is a place where you can report these things so that the creator can reupload their Video or give the link for the codec being used! Cause it is really disappointing downloading something for hours just to have it to where you can't watch it! Then re-downloading it to make sure it wasn't in the downloading process. So if there is a place please tell me ause I have a lengthy list of vid's downloaded that don't work!
Thanks

If you have an entire list of vids that don't work, check out the extensions and see if they're all avi. If so, you're probably missing the xvid/divx codec. You can get fddshow, install it, and that should let you watch the vids on Windows Media Player.
If it's rm/ram or qt you'll need the RealMedia player or Quicktime player.
If any are mpg, then check the vid description - they may actually be listed as mpeg2 in which case you'll want to try BSPlayer or possibly the old Winamp 1.87.
For these players (and the fddshow filter), do a google search. They're all free for download. I'd search them out and give you links, but I'm not in the mood to go to that much trouble. ^_^;
