There's a 'Video Deletion Request' link on the 'Edit Video' page. Go there.Dagre wrote:Okay, first of all. is this the right place to put this post? im rather new here and all.

Check the Guides for how to use CuteFTP, and check the dozens of other threads that ask what the best program is to use. The 'Search' function is your friend.Dagre wrote: And my big question, how the heck to i work that CuteFTP thingy?

Open the program for the first time and it should go through the connection wizard. If it doesn't, go to File>Connect>Connection Wizard....
The first step of the wizard is to make a nickname for the connection. The name can be something like a-m-v.org or whatever you want it to be.
In the next step it asks for the URL address. Go look at the upload permission page and it should tell you the URL with the username and password. Type the URL into the space given.
The third step asks for the username and password. Type in the username and password that is given to you by that request upload page crap and fill in the right information accordingly.
The fourth step is where you can choose where your downloaded files go to. Choose a directory.
The fifth step will just inform you about stuff so just click finish.
The moment you click finish CuteFTP will automatically connect you to the FTP server and it'll inform you when its connected.
There are two main boxes in the interface of the program. The left side is pretty much all the files of your computer while the left side of the program is the server's side of file storage.
Find your video you want to upload in the left side of the interface(your computer). Drag the video file to the left side(server side) and drop it.
CuteFTP will start uploading your AMV to a-m-v.org's server. If you look on the bottom portion of the program, it shows you the transfer rate of the video to the server.
Once it says 100%, its done uploading to the server.
Go back to a-m-v.org members main menu and go to Confirm Video.
It will ask you for a upload confirmation. Confirm the upload and there you go, you'll have your video uploaded locally for everyone to download.

Try Requesting the Deletion of the Video entry again clarifying that you accidentally enterd a corrupt video entry and that they please get rid of it.Dagre wrote:Umm... scuse'

And yes, they can delete the video file only without the entry deleted with it; just clarify that in the Deletion Request comment
[MOD: He has to link to the video entry he wants kept, too. That way, whoever looks at the request knows what the entry is a duplicate is of.]
