I will always pimp DefilerPak at the cure for your codec ills.

And I will always pimp ffdshow, because it gives you what you need for nearly any video here, and nothing more. Well, not that I've noticed anyway.

I would suggest that over codec packs.
HOWEVER, for 90% of cases just getting the latest versions of XviDand DivX codecs should suffice.

This is very difficult to read... If I'm misunderstanding you, let me know.krazytt wrote:also i wanted to know were the amv's i downloaded from this website are do see them just for that while or there hidden somwere on my computer when i download them it dosnt let me decide were i want to save them to they just start
When you click the local button, left-click that button, you should get a pop-up that lets you choose where to download the video to. After that, you open that folder and the video should be there - so you can open it in windows media player.
Is this the direct videos? When a video starts playing (without making you download and open it first), then you're streaming that video. You can do this with some direct videos. If you 'left-click' the link, it should download instead. None of the local videos with 'just start' - they can't be streamed. If your media player is trying to stream those videos, you may have to change your settings....they just start...
Or you can download a different web-browser. I don't believe streaming is a problem for firefox or opera, both free replacements for internet explorer.

There's Free, then there's 'free if you want to put up with ads'. Firefox and Opera, respectively.Arigatomina wrote:Or you can download a different web-browser. I don't believe streaming is a problem for firefox or opera, both free replacements for internet explorer.
