What is the best program to make a video in?

sorry I am a total newbie and I want to make my own video but I dont know where to make one.

It's all a matter of what has the capabilities YOU need to realize YOUR vision, and with what YOU'RE most comfortable.

I have a mac to so i use iMovie (came with it). it depends on your tastes. for example: i put up with its super slowness with getting the clips im using loaded onto it, but when i save the final cut, it runs super smooth and perfect. ^^
