Uploading Video - Not completing

Post by Chiisai_Ryuujin » Sat Nov 19, 2005 3:01 am

When I try to upload a 60ish meg video, it always seems to cut out before it finishes. I was using software that I'm pretty sure allows resuming - Filezilla.

This is probably mainly because I'm on a 28k connection these days, but that's really the only option as I pretty much live in the middle of nowhere.

Is there any way to fix/get around this sort of limitation, other than making a really small/crappy quality video?

Me too I'm in your situation about connection, as me too I live in a blackhole.. :\

Listen.. :O In my opinion, you should not use any of these programs, just follow the help in the upload page and use directly the ftp of your explorer. Try! Try to don't use an other program.

My internet browser doesn't even have one of those... Which one are you using?

Anyways - the thing is, ISP always cuts out after 30mb or so, and the server doesn't seem to support resuming. I'm using fileZilla, incidentally.

weird, i had the problem once(128K upload) and i assumed it cut out because i was also doing other stuff on the net at the same time. I tried a sceond time and let it be and it worked fine. I use smart FTP - its suppose to resume broken downloads.
