Make "No Evanescence" More Obvious

Post by ZaCloud » Wed Dec 21, 2005 7:26 pm

There's predictably a lotta n00bs, or even experienced users, who don't have the time to read details about all updates on this site, and eventually that update will be floated away by others. So, I humbly suggest that a plain and simple message specifying that no Evanescence (and other involved artists) videos can be uploaded, in a place where everyone can see it, preferably on the main page so nobody gets their hopes up making their vids then being let-down later.

There needs to be a list in big bold letters in the Member Main Page saying what bands are banned; I don't think it's been clarified visually. I mean I don't think many actually read (or even scanned) the whole post Phade made.

Apparently you can only see that if you have at least 1000 posts.

I agree that it should be more obvious... I've already seen a few confused people submitting Evanescence vids then saying in their vid info "why won't my vid upload??".

it's on the members main page.

the request upload page should be updated with this though.

I propose the following image be displayed whenever an upload containing Evanescence, Creed, or Seether music is detected. A link to the pertinent thread might also be helpful.

Maybe if you exchanged "YOTSUBAN&!" with something that wasn't fucking stupid.

Then it wouldn't be quite as effective, now would it?
