No Options For Videos

Post by OnePieceForever » Fri Dec 23, 2005 12:27 pm

Hi everyone

First of I just want to say I am really really sorry if this has been addressed many times before but I cannot find any answers :(

I have noticed that some videos have "no options" for being downloaded. Does this mean that the owner has taken away the video? How would I go abouts trying to view these videos? Do I e-mail the owner and ask them to re-link it or do something else?

I am really sorry for all of the questions and I hope I haven't addressed this topic again

Thank you for your help everyone...

P.s. Does anybody here know the reason as to why all of the Evanescence Shaman King videos are down? I know it is a stupid question but it seems that every video with an Evanescence song on it has no download option and they are not all the same authors :?:

... There's a news item on the Members Main Page that answers this very question. :?

/me is suddenly forced to take that "Make 'No Evanescence' more obvious" thread seriously.

"No options" can simply mean that the video was never uploaded in the first place. Emailing the author is probably the best way to try to find videos that are not locally available. If that doesn't work, you could try asking for specific videos on the forums.

Oh wait, I misinterpreted the first half of that.

If a video has no links available, then it means one of a few things:
1) The creator has never made the video available for download.
2) The creator once had it available but has since taken it down.
3) The video features music by Evanescence, Creed, and/or Seether.

Or some combination of these.

In all cases, the first thing to try is usually e-mailing the creator and asking if s/he can send you a copy. If the creator shows no signs of life, then try asking on the General AMV board; many people have done this in the past with success.

There's also your favorite file-sharing program; you would be surprised how many AMVs you can find on them.
