Avatars (kinda a stupid question)

Where the heck do you find an avatar that will work??
Its so picky I can't find one picture or icon that will work nor can I make my own!!!

Just remember, 80 pixels x 80 pixels, 6 KB max size, JPG or GIF format.

I tried to use a BMP once...

it was an accident, i swear!

That's only if you upload them to the forums. If you use your own hosting (or an image hosting service) you can go up to 80 kb.

I forgot my password for my ftp to my personal webspace my isp gives me. And I'm too lazy to go get it. Plus, I'm a leech on the .org.

Get some images and cut them down to size and/or do other cool-lookin' stuff with them using your favorite image editing program.

(If you don't have one, then <a href="http://www.gimp.org">The GIMP</a> is free, open-source, and almost as powerful as Adobe Photoshop.)

There are websites that have avatars available for download and use. Just make sure you get one that is the right size for use here. Although I would recommend making your own from existing images or making one by hand (if you are hardcore) in your favorite image editing program.
