Hey guys,
I just completed my first video earlier and was going through the process of registering it on the site, however I noticed one line that said that videos should be less than 100mb in Size.
The video Ive made is 4 minutes long and is 114MB, compressed with xvid using virtualdubmod.
Is there a way to make it smaller still without destroying quality? Is 114MB acceptable for a 4 minute video?
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Video Size
If you've already compressed your audio, you may want to also consider reducing the resolution and bitrate.Rhodan wrote:Is there a way to make it smaller still without destroying quality? Is 114MB acceptable for a 4 minute video?

Hmm I thought you meant that the audio would change from an Mp3 to a more file intensive format when making the video, although it was already in Mp3 form.
Ive fiddled with a lot of video settings and have managed to reduce it to around 50mb filesize. Thanks a lot for those of you who contributed help
